The album Seconds Away From Salvation was reviewed on British rock magazine Black Velvet getting 4/5 "hearts". You can also find the review on issue no. 64. THE JADE SECONDS AWAY FROM SALVATION (NORTH & SOUTH) "Having already scored a Top ten single in their native Finland, alt rockers The Jade are looking to take the UK by storm too, a country that has clearly influenced their music greatly. Their sound recalls the sound of the 1980´s English rock before the Brit Pop movement changed English music forever, with emphasis on pop melodies and crunchy guitars held together by singer Wille Rosen´s Bowie-esque vocals. Single, Ýesterday´s Rain is catchy and commercial enough to be a hit but the album is stronger when it leans to heavier side like ´Before the Dawn´ or ´Kings´s Cross´ which has a great shouting open and is edgier and darker than the rest of their pop infused material. Despite its faults though, the album is a sterling effort, well produced and more distinctive than most European rock bands and very catchy. Be prepared to be singing along to one of these tracks very soon" 4/5 Review by Lauren Walker on Black Velvet, issue 64 (2010) www.blackvelvetmagazine.com
